Fantastic stats, Lori. That is a great killing ratio with so few books! 3.666 books per level, by my count. You must have had a lot of large series almost caught up. It took me a little more than 7 books for 21 levels to kill the same number of levels, I think,
Oh, Almeta, I love your headers and graphics on reporting your levels! Congratulations on going three times above and beyond with 15 levels!!!
Janice, Thank you (and any other mods) for a GREAT challenge this year. I have enjoyed this more than any other challenge I have taken on Good Reads, probably because I am definitely a series reader. Here are my final stats:
Level 25
A Rule Against Murder - Louise Penny - 5 points
Bittersweet - Susan Wittig Albert - 100 + 5 = 105
Level 25 points: 110
Total series killed: 36
Final 'Body' Count of serials finished: 36
Final Point Total: 3,105
36 series down and how many new ones to go, Nancy? Terrific work, you over achiever!I never thought to add up my points, but I was always aiming for a minimum to get to the next level. I'll have to look and see. ;o)

Thanks, Cherie! I had 4 levels that were taken out with one shot and then I had a lot of 5 book series that only needed 1 or 2 books to finish up so I'd finish a level with 2 or 3 books and kill off 2 series. I mainly focused on series that needed just one book to finish it off. I'm working on updating my list to continue knocking off series but its probably going to take a lot more books from now on.
You all know I'm going to be asking you to repeat all your statistics, don't you? Besides, I haven't decided just what stats I'm going to ask you for. :) Oh, and there will be a separate thread.Blame it the meanie.
*evil cackle*
It is always fun to see the stats, Janice, even if it is just for levels. With the huge number of readers participating and the number of books we plowed through, I am sure we must have put certain authors "over the top" in their sales statistics for the year. (The Iron Druid series is one that comes to mind).
And just squeaking in under the wire with level 44!! Stayed up all night and finally finished off the last book. There are still series to be killed off but that will have to wait till next year. https://www.goodreads.com/topic/show/...
I'm working on my stats to see how many series "bit the dust" and how many I carry over. "sigh" A serial killer's work is never done...
If I have counted correctly (and that's not a given) I have wrapped up the 2015 Serial Killer challenge with:
44 levels reported
183 books read
4660 points
59 series killed off (14 of those were entire series read during this challenge)
14 levels killed off with a single book
3 series still in progress
3 little orphan books that are part of a series but not followed up on
This was fun! I'm definitely going to continue with the serial killing.
Level 13 isn't meant to be, but I did finish level 12, which is what my original goal was. If I was really truly ambitious, I'd read the final two trades for level 13, but I'd rather be alert for work tomorrow.https://www.goodreads.com/topic/show/...
I'll have to come back with some stats for you later on, though, because my bed and my new book is calling to me!
Esther wrote: "i made it to level 10. Wiht a few hours to spare. :)"Congratulations, Estger and Welcome to the double digits serial killer club!
If 13 was not to be, 12 is still over the top and a great accomplishment, Lynda. We read some great series!
I finished level four with my last book in 2015, I hope it's not too late to report it. A pity I didn't make it to level 5, but at least I completed 4/5 levels :)
Your badge is on your wall, Teanka. Make sure you report your overall stats in the Plead Your Case thread if you haven't already.

Hi Janice - I'm finally getting around to updating my reading. I'm telling you - managing a bookstore is an all consuming job! I've got no to make lists - except lists of local authors for the store. I finished the sixth level late on December 31st.
