Ok, I did my darnedest and finished 14 levels. I was reading a lot of series this year, and will continue to do so. I love series! So, this was a great challenge for me. Sorry, I've been doing more reading than posting! Congrats to everyone who finished 1 or more levels! We rock!
I finished one level! And that's all I care about!I finished the Bloodlines series.
- 6 Book Series for 60 points
- For the challenge I complete books 2 - 5 for 25 points
- I also read books 2 and 3 of the A Beautiful Dark trilogy for 10 points
- And finally I read Bearing an Hourglass for 5 points
That's 100 points and all books from series! Yay!

Yay Caitlin!! Congratulations on powering through and finishing the level.
Michelle, I looked at your thread and I think you've misunderstood the challenge. In order to complete a level, you need to complete at least one series AND score a minimum of 100 points in that level. Once you completed a level, you start the next level. You cannot read books from level 4 before you finish level 2.
Unfortunately, I cannot give you the level 4 badge, but I can give you the level 2 badge. It's on your wall.
I've finished Level Seven, and you can see the details here. I know there are no more badges for this, but it's good to finish another anyway. Looks like I'm finishing the year with Poldarks, witches, vampires, and dreamy Highlanders, with a bit of Murakami and classics mixed in. I look forward the 2016 Challenge, too!
Listening to everyone hit the year end levels, I feel like I need to rush to my book right now and get reading. I have three books to finish plus a couple more graphic novels for my bonus level 13! A baker's dozen.

I finally did it! I finished at least one series this year - but only a trilogy. Red Rover, Oranges and Lemons, Yellow VengeanceWhen I look at my Message 2 post, Sam F's Serial Adventure 2015, I can see I spent more time starting new series than I did finish them. But, I have enough starts to add up to 100! Hoorary!
Now I can spend 2016 trying to finish the rest. The spree continues. :)
Killed level 13 last night :) I'm glad I succeeded to kill more than one level for each month ;o)So here are the books I've read for that level:
Level 13
Cherie wrote: "Sweet, Debra! You tied with your sister on levels, but which one killed more series? LOL."I have no idea! But my sister seems to beat me on all counts when it comes to number of books read, etc. I read a lot of books in series this year, but some were long series, and many were very large books. One of George R. R. Martin books clocked in as my highest # of pages read with over 1100 pages!
At last, I have killed 1 level...Black Dagger Brotherhood Series
I finished two books for that:
The Shadows which is the 13th. book in the serie (somewhat OK)
and also
Blood Kiss
which actually was ANOTHER new serie (Black Dagger Legacy) :-(((
and very, very dissapointing
Finished my 11th level, will be my last one.https://www.goodreads.com/topic/show/...
Some stats:
Series killed: 17, of which both started and finished during the challenge: 5
Series started: 27
Books read: 81

Sam - Welcome to the double digits Serial Killer Club!Camilla - you did great! Looks like your new series will need more management next year, like the rest of us. :o)
She has not posted here, but I believe Wanda needs to be given "Welcome to the double digit Serial Killer Club".
Woohoo! Finished my challenge by completing level 15.My stats:
23 series killed
56 books read
14 series added
Thank you, Janice, it was a great challenge and apparently I can't be rehabilitated because I plan to continue killing off those series.
I really didn't think I'd make this level when I started it, but slow holidays and easy stories like the Rumpole, Charlie Chan and Brother Cadfael series made it possible. Fifteen Men on a Dead Man's Chest

5 ∞ Keeper of the Keys (Charlie Chan) 18 Dec
