Susan - this is late, but Welcome to the Over 30s Serial Killer Club.I guess I have to class Rebecca as a Golden Oldies Serial Killer. ^_^

And cherie youre a monster man how many levels have you killed?? i think about 30?! fanfreakintastic!!!!
Er, I've finished level four - she says feeling rather sheepish :}https://www.goodreads.com/topic/show/...
Tammy wrote: "I don't think I'm ever going to get 100 points in a month, in order to reach level 1. ugh"Tammy, you have 75 points right now. All you need to do is read the last two books in either The Earth Children series or the Tudor Court series, and you're done.
Tammy wrote: "Janice I thought the points had to be earner in a months time period."Nope. In a whole year!
The Tudor Court and the Earth Children series have pretty big books.
You already have 25 points for the Earth Children series.
You have already 15 points for the Tudor Court series.
Seems as though your Bells of Lowell series or your Insanity series could work as well....SMALLER BOOKS!
You have 5 points for the Bells of Lowell series.
You have 15 points for the Insanity series...AND if you really did read Figment in July 2015 (not rated), then you have 20 points. Read Wonder(Insanity #5) to complete that series for 75 points.
25 Earth's Children
15 The Tudor Court
05 Bells of Lowell
20 Insanity
65 subtoal
55 Read this one book before the end of the year Wonder (or 65 for the last of the Earth Children series, which is larger)
120 points Total (130)
I think I calculated correctly.
You can do it Tammy!☺ I want you to get your badge!
Aditya wrote: "And cherie youre a monster man how many levels have you killed?? i think about 30?! fanfreakintastic!!!!"Congratulations for finishing your Level 2, Aditya!
No - I am currently working on my Level 18. :0)

Haha, Aditya. It was just one of those wonderful happenings, where all of the planets aligned.I simply happened to have purchased the latest book in a long, on-going series that I had been reading for years. I was able to read and finish it on the very first day of the challenge and be the first one to claim my first level and get the first badge in the challenge. Total serendipity.
Many levels have been much more work. It took 14 books to finish them but the reading has been awsome.

I know exactly how you feel! I'm only in a few levels myself, but it DOES feel good to knock of a few of those series!
Just FYI:Level 21
The Cat Who Dropped a Bombshell - Lillian Jackson Braun - (30 books in series - all read!) - 100+5 = 105 points
Points in Level 21 = 105
Total series killed: 30
I'm so impressed with the numbers of levels readers are completing. And the numbers of series that are being completed! I hope at the end of the year we can have a full accounting of how many levels and series were read this year. It's going to be an incredible number. My biggest problem is that I keep finding new series to add to the ones I've already committed to. I'm going to be continuing this challenge for a long time.
Awsome Nancy! For your 30 book series, how many did you read this year? Roz - we are in the same boat. I never thought seriously about series books before. When you read favorites as they come out, the number of books never seems like a big deal. When you have to sit down and plan for a quantity to read for a challenge like this, it becomes near paralyzing and you keep finding more and more to read!
Finished Level 7. Kind of a bummer because the book I used to finish the level was worth 105 points and I already had 60 points. But I really wanted to read it.

Hi Cherie,
Of this series, I read 4 this year to finish it out. I thought I had read most of them, but when I went back and checked all of the ones in the series, I was missing four, so I decided that I needed to get them done this year in this great, motivating challenge!
https://www.goodreads.com/topic/show/...I've been trying to keep up with my wall but have missed reporting here - so levels 33 and 34 have gone down and I'm working on 35. I spent some time early this morning plotting to get to the end of the calendar year and this challenge. I'm trying to figure out how to maximize my points per level and kill off those last series that I have hanging on. I'm also trying so very hard to avert my eyes to avoid being tempted by all of you and your books. :)
Ariane - happy days on your Level 3 finish.Amanda and Lanelle - Congratulations and Welcome to the Level 5 Serial Killers Club!
Susan - minimize the points for maximum killing and more levels!
Whoooo Hoooooo!!!! Can't believe I made it to level 5!!! Oops!! Got so excited forgot to copy and paste the link.....give me a sec.......NOT ONLY MERELY DEAD BUT REALLY MOST SINCERELY DEAD (gotta love the witch is dead coroner report) LINK: https://www.goodreads.com/topic/show/...
I'm reporting a double homicide. 2 series killed to knock off level 12.https://www.goodreads.com/topic/show/...
Thanks, Cherie! I am working on level 13 as we speak and lucky for me it's going down with one shot.
Whew! Level 35 goes down. Onward into a killing frenzy before the year ends!https://www.goodreads.com/topic/show/...
