Everyone is doing so well!

I have just finished my first book, Heir of Novron, and killed off my first series, 'The Riyria Revelations'. However, I still need to complete one more series to level up.

I'm trying to finish a book to complete the trilogy and my tablet died. Ugh! Just out of the blue it stopped working and from what I can tell it's a hardware problem. And of course it's out of warranty...

I killed a series, but I haven't leveled up yet.

I finished the third book in the Legends of Muirwood trilogy by Jeff Wheeler. This was one of the best series I've read in quite a while. I plan to search out more books by Mr. Wheeler very soon. I think I may have overextended myself on my January reads though, so it'll be a little while.

I didn't conceptualize this challenge very well. We've got some reading one book, killing a series and level. Then we have trilogies which require that you read more than one series to achieve a level. Well, we're into it now and will just have to live with it, and have fun with it the way it is.

I am the same going at my own pace. I have a lot that I need to wait for the library and I also like to change my mind about what I feel like reading. Sometimes I like to read a series back to back sometimes space it out. :)

Either we kill them off early, or we read like mad to kill them off later, that was the way I saw it.

Okay. :) I'm glad everyone is enjoying the challenge. I'm not feeling stressed with badging everyone. I was concerned that I'd made it too easy and a little inconsistent. But, I'm happy if everyone else is happy.

Just read and have fun. That's the main thing.

Tasha, we are of the same mind! I'm also waiting on many library holds and can't resist the allure of non-fiction, hehe. I have a couple of series that I space out on purpose so I always have an amazing read for a 12 hour flight, but others I gobble down like candy. :D

I'm loving the challenge, Janice. The goal is to kill series reads and everyone is really at so many different levels in series reads so it's going to seem really unlevel. I think as long as series books are being read and killed off it's all good. :)

I'm one of those who will be taking a while to get level one done but I'm just happy to have a reason to move along those series reads!

I know. An awesome feature was added to the user page of my library last year. We can suspend for 1 to 3 weeks on our reservations. So if it looks like 2 books will come at the same time i can delay one. Of course if there is only one copy, it means a possibility of a 3 weeks delay as it will go to the next one in line but it beats returning a book half read for lack of time. It should help me participate to buddy reads....
