2015 - I've Killed a Level, Badge me!
Hi Janice, Stephanie Plum is dead and book #21 is buried. Bones is still shaking his head and looking sad. Badge me, please!
ACK! It's not even the end of the first day of the year. Let me get the December challenge wrapped up, the 2014 chunkster challenge wrapped up, and badges created. It may be mid month before I can start posting badges. Go ahead and post when your levels are complete and I will start posting them when I'm ready.
No worries, Janice! Take your time. I just could not resist!!! :0)Yay, Dawn! On the first day too, huh? (((Grinning like an idiot.))))
Look at you 2 go. Hate to admit it but I really haven't yet given much of a look to my series. I know of 3 series I own all the needed books but after that who knows
Awww shucks, I was hoping to be the first! I will have my book done by tomorrow and then will have earned 105 points.Yep, maybe you made this too easy, Janice. I WILL be reading a lot more books in other series, many more before they are completed. So, no worries, this is series year for me. Not many single books on my list.
My eyes bugged a little bit when I saw there was already 17 posts on this thread. LOL.Good work, ladies! You are all truly Serial Killers! ;)
I have killed my first level also :)LEVEL 1
Books read (title and series)
The Nightingale Before Christmas ( Read 01-02)
Points
5 (the book) + 100 (series of more than 10 books) = 105 points
Series completed

I'm with you, Lynda. I have some of my books on hand and a list of books that I'd like to read, but no points yet. I'll definitely be working on this one all year. Congrats to everyone that planned so well and completed a level already!
Damn, I didn't get much reading done today and now you've beat me to Level Two!I'll catch up tomorrow. :)

Sorry Dawn, that last Rizzoli and Isles book was too good to put down. I am going to catch my breath now and start listening to my Charles Lenox book #8. I have to read 4 books to finish my level 3. I have the first three picked out but have not decided on #4 yet. I was more focused on getting the list compiled and the series and books listed than on the reading and points stratigy, except for the first level. Tess Gerritsen made my level 2 possible by publishing her book for me last month. Happiness happens!
Hey Janice. Stephanie Plum thought she was just grazed but I got her good. Down for the count. Level 1 is done. Gotta go, more to kill, eheheh....
Cherie wrote: "Hi Janice. I have killed again! Level 2 is done. Rizzoli & Isles are history with #11 behind me."You are a blood thirsty woman! Goodness!
Roz too!
I finished Leaving Everything Most Loved which finishes that series (for now, next book out in March). So I have completed Level Two and caught up to Cherie again!
Wow, I haven't been online for a few days and then there are already 32 posts on this thread and several levels 'killed'! Unbelievable! I have only just started one of my series (a new one, so it will take a while before I really have anything worthwhile to say in this threat ;)...)!Congrats to the first Serial Killers!
Congratulations to everyone who has killed levels! All I have done so far is move my first book to the top of my TBR pile!
Me too Lisa! I havent even maked a list of the books and Series I m going to consider for the challenge! There are serious profesionals here...

There are indeed! I think maybe we should watch our backs ;)
I'm ready for a badge! I read the three books in Mindy Klasky's 9 book Diamond Brides series (https://www.goodreads.com/series/1256...) for a total of 105 points in Level 1.
Welcome to the "killers" group, Roz and Lara!Dawn and I are glad to have you with us. :0)
Stephanie will never be the same again, huh Roz?
Oh, come on, Janice. Where else can we give each other a high five and get a badge for being serial killers? It was a rush!I am waiting to see the little smoking gun that I bet Almeta has lined up for showing hers when she "offs" them. :0)
Oddly enough I had never looked at strategizing how to get the most badges the quickest. I had only thought a bit on which series I needed to make the most progress in or which ones I've been needing to kill but just keep getting sidetracked from doing. Yesterday I had decided on 2series I could kill to complete a level yet today as I was going to load a bunch of books to my phone I kept deciding on book #1's... Still not on track yet I guess
I love Stephanie Plum, Cherie. I hope she rises again (but not in 2015). She's so wonderfully dysfunctional, and who can dislike Lula and Grandma? They just make me chuckle. Don't get me started on Morelli and Ranger ....Babe.
My plan is to just hit the series books laying around my house so it will take me some time to level up. My plan is to get more books read for different series reads and then start leveling up later. But who knows, it could all change tomorrow. :)
You guys amaze me! I've got a couple books read, and finished a series, but need a couple more books to level up.
Travis, I am with you... I am not at all sure I am going about this in the most badge-o-lific manner. I read a book 1 already but I'm not sure I'm in for the next two in the series. Janice, as far as I'm concerned you can take your time! :)Congrats to all of you who are already getting away with it! No interference to worry about from this meddling kid!

I've decided that I will give badges for Levels 1 - 5. Then, at the end of the year there may be more badges awarded to the overachievers.
