I read a series of books following a south London family from WW1 through to I believe was up to the 70’s (sure there are more). I remember there were references to the effect of the blitz around Elephant & Castle, the family dynamics include moving around the UK over the decades - the family were in manufacturing???

I picked these books up in our local library around the early 00’s so not sure of actual date of publication. A couple of books in I realised they were part of a multi book series, so started to read them in order ... there were were over 10 (& definitely more books in the series)

The name Stephanie springs into my head - first name of author?? I would love to re-read this series as it was wonderful following the family through struggles, successes, failures over the years .... any help genuinely appreciated.

Yes - this series doesn’t go back far enough - this series starts in WW2. Thank you for commenting though.
