I think its people being cooped up in their house going stir crazy. Next thing its redrum redrum
Should learn how to do the photobucket deal and load my own pics. Could even show some nice weather pics. We get at least 4 months a year without snow

Hahaha! Is that something like flipping one's wig, or as Travis said - redrum redrum!

Daylight savings here too, but not for another three weeks.

I wouldn't say I fell depress in winter, but I definitively feel the lack of energy in the cold season too. In summer my energy level is really, really higher. I wonder if it is kind of "hibernation"? Maybe it's a way the body has to save energy in the moment we need it more and the supplies are shorter.

People get SAD here too and can buy those light boxes to help. I think it does have a lot to do with mindset too. We expect Winter to come, it to be dark and dreary, not do much and then it happens, and we feel rubbish. As Travis says, there is a lot of beauty in Winter so focusing on what you like about the season is a good idea. But I think you're right too Sandra that there might be an element of hibernation going on. Typical in winter there is less food around and more dangers (i.e. ice and other hungry animals) and therefore we just hole up and wait for the warmer weather to come and preserve our energy stores.
We had a gorgeous weekend of weather here. It feels like Spring has sprung. We moved our boat yesterday up the canal so I had a nice new view when I woke up this morning. The clocks don't go forward here until the end of March. I noticed that some of you in Canada and the US had some time changes yesterday (my diary told me).

Oh, how cool, you got one of those that I have seen on posts on FB. I did not know that they were available yet. I always thought it would be neat to keep bees, but never thought it a reality. I try to be bee friendly and not spray insecticides in my yard. Just make sure Lexx has an eppie pen. My brother is allergic and we almost lost him twice before they were available. You will have to drizzle the honey on his pancakes for him. :0)

I know, it's only an hour but it still takes me a couple of days for my body to adjust!

Me too, Peggy. Going to and from Malaysia was just awful because of the jet lag. My sleep cycle got very messed up. At one point I just couldn't sleep period. Ugh.
Mmm, steak sounds so yummy, Travis.
Good luck, Stephanie. Enjoy your new job :)
