Yes I remember. I also remember Lexx told you to bump it up your tbr so I've been keeping an eye out for it on offer as it's generally quite expensive.
As I am currently reading (and really enjoying) Naomi's Room by Jonathan Aycliffe, I decided to pick up some more spooky tales by him. They are all kindle books. The Silence of Ghosts
The Vanishment
Whispers in the Dark
Checked Audible daily deal and thought it better be Halloweenish. And it was. Amd it was one I've been wanting to read. So for a $1.95 I will listen to Bronson Pinchot read me The Halloween Tree
I'm afraid to click on that last link Sarah!I just got Hunted and Shattered to finish the iron druid series.
Rusalka wrote: "Just read this now. Lexx and I are laughing, Sarah and Travis. Hope you both enjoy."Thanks. I really need to have no job so that I can read all these books.

I have no job and still don't have the time to read all the books on my TBR and shelves.
A Spool of Blue Thread was a 3.5 stars for me, Lisa. I think you are gonna enjoy it. It's more character driven than plot driven.
Sandra wrote: "A Spool of Blue Thread was a 3.5 stars for me, Lisa. I think you are gonna enjoy it. I want to read as many of this years Booker shortlisted books as possible. I currently own 4 of them but haven't read any of them yet.
I've added a few books recently:Carmilla.
I fell in love with the cover and had to have it! Tipping the Velvet
Brighter Than the Sun
Blood Destiny
Ooh Janice I did that couple times and learned my lesson ! Now I keep telling myself when I buy books to not to look for pretty covers .. Ir attractive titles ..
Well, it is a beautiful cover. The books has good rating among my GR fiends, and at a least a nice review. I'm not a vampire story fan, though. Except DRACULA, I love Dracula. :)@CFDeeDee, ALL THE LIGHT WE CAN NOT SEE it's an amazing book! One of the best books I read last year. I actually plan to read a short stories book by the same author for this month challenge.
@Sandra It was a recommendation in the thread I've posted few days ago, I found most the books which were mentioned for me to try!Hope I would like it too :D
I picked up:A Thousand Nights
(this was a cover buy more than anything but it had to be done)Carry On
I just bought
Tricky Twenty-Two. Her last book lead off my series challenge first kill, so this one will be the last one I read to finish off my last level.
Just bought Armada for my neighbor. His birthday is next week and he is a big fan of science fiction. I hope he likes it. I'm not a science fiction reader, so every year is a challenge for me to choose a book for him. So far he has always like the books. I gave him The Martian last year, and Great North Road the previous one.
I picked up The Gap of Time: The Winter’s Tale Retold
which is the first book in Hogarth's Shakespeare project.

I'm not a science fiction reader, so every year is a challe..."There's a publisher that puts out the Science Fiction Masterworks series- classic SF stuff. Here's the complete list of what they've published as of Feb, 2015:

Well... in case they send me the one shown online.
Mariab wrote: "I wish you live in MY neighborhood, Sandra! ;-) "Hahaha, that would be fun!
There's only two neighbors I buy presents for. This one is in his sixties (I don't know exactly because he wouldn't say ;) ), and the other one is my neighbor next door who will turn 94 next February. He prefers fruit cakes as presents, so makes my life easier. Both of them are special for my family.
But of course, if you were my neighbor I would buy a book for you too. :D

Oh! Thanks, Sandra; that would be, indeed...
Got an email that audible now has Harry Potter. Finally. The price of the series anywhere else for audio has been horrendous. I immediately bought all 7 books. Paranoia that it was a dream and if I didn't buy them now they would vanish. I also recently bought Super Mario: How Nintendo Conquered America
Travis of NNY wrote: "Got an email that audible now has Harry Potter. Finally. The price of the series anywhere else for audio has been horrendous. I immediately bought all 7 books. I have 17 credits available and I'm waiting for some big sales. I won't hold my breath. I checked the library and they have them available through Overdrive so I'm on hold for the first one.
In my case my wife has access to my library and hooefully in a couple more years my kids could advance to Harry Potter.i buy all my books for myself but at thr samr time I am building a digital family library
I purchased a couple of books on eBay and have them in my possession now :)
Surprise, books with dogs :) both have been on my TBR shelf for a long time and I had an eBay credit :)
Reporting birthday haul of:The Natural Way of Things
Collapse: How Societies Choose to Fail or Succeed
The Wife Drought
and The Art of Belonging.
I also went looking for my Christmas list and ended up buying (please tell me we aren't the only people who do this):
Tiger Milk
Under the Frangipani
Camera Obscura
Chronicle in Stone
The Great Game
Beijing Coma
The Merry Misogynist just need 2-5 now. But it was less than $5 brand new.
And Manhattan In Reverse for Lexx
I too end up buying things when I'm supposed to be making a list for other people to buy me or when shopping for other people's presents. You are not alone! Happy Birthday Rusalka.
