I'm a bit confused... Just to be clear I meant the bottom left corner of the dock, where the squares are.
Or could you send me a pic of this map with my position marked on it?

Oh sorry I thought you understood. You walked to the dock on map 1 and I then revealed the next map. So you were at the beginning of the dock on Map 1 and will be at the beginning of the dock on Map 2. If you put Map 2 next to Map 1 you should understand the relation of them. So you can't start at the bottom of Map 2, as you would have teleported there. Does that make any sense? So you are here:

Oh, i thought that since I swam here I'd have to come from the water side.

So I can choose to check out this map or leave? Clearly there isn't a person here, but is that a chest on the dock (three blocks away) that I could open? And could I by any chance take the boat and travel faster?

Yip you swam and then got onto the edge of the dock on Map 1 (if you open the big version you will see).

Yip you can choose to check it out or leave. I am not able to tell you what will happen if you get to the chest or if you get to the boat. Those are subject to secret and rolls of mine.
