Does anyone perhaps have some good books to recommend for the above challenge?
The Haunting of Alaizabel Cray by Chris Wooding is what first came to mind. Definitely some creep factor in there. And some scenes are still vivid in my mind.
(wait, does the creep factor have to be on the cover, or just the general feel of the book?)
