Why can’t I fix a book description?

My real question is “can someone else fix this?”, u less you can actually tell me how to do it myself.

I am baffled — the book description for The Absolute Book is missing an em dash between “her” and “her” and is pretty awkward. I tried to fix it and my changes had no impact. You can actually see the dash in the default description being used, but it doesn’t show on the page.

I don’t know what I’m supposed to be doing differently, seems like a simple fix but...

It didn't use to be like this. I hope they fix this bug soon because it's extremely annoying.
