I read Persuasion by Jane Austen, The Wonderful Wizard of Oz by L. Frank Baum, and A Little Princess by Frances Hodgson Burnett. A Little Princess was definitely my favorite classic of the month.
I read four classics in April: The Wind in the Willows, To Kill A Mockingbird, Death on the Nile by Agatha Christie, and The Count of Monte Cristo (unabridged version). I loved all of them!!
I finished 'War and Peace' by Tolstoy (which I started reading in February), 'The best of Saki' by Saki (H. H. Munro), 'The Machine Stops' by E. M. Forster and 'Greek Tragedies' by Aeschylus, Euripides, Sophocles.
I read Lord of the Flies by William Golding, Metaporphosis by Franz Kafka, A Room of One's Own by Virginia Wolf and lithuanian classic White shroud by Antanas Skema ( a re-read for me)
