At one point it seemed that maybe Beth was responsible for embezzling money from the lodge. Did you go down that path? If so, what made you drop her from your suspect list?

[Anita]

I did suspect Beth for a time, but it soon became clear that Steve was the first target and that shifted my focus to Grace.

[Karen ♐]

I did think Beth was involved and was most likely assisting Grace.

[Charlene]

I first thought that Beth was embezzling, but I wasn't sure that she was a murderer.

[Jonetta]

Yeah, I went down that path, thinking Beth and Grace were working together. I was really happy when Lucy cleared her.

[Melissa]

I figured that the sisters were in it together. I should have dismissed the idea when Lucy didn't find anything in her room, but I didn't until it was revealed that she wasn't involved.

[Jonetta]

Melissa, it took me that long, too.

Beth was my first suspect too. She had access to the books and it looked like the money that Steve's father had left him had been stolen.
