Krasimir Tsonev | 3 comments Hey everyone,

I started using GoodReads while back as a reader but I'm also author myself. I mostly write technical books and for some reason I didn't think adding my books here. However, I found that someone did.

https://www.goodreads.com/author/show...

and this is my current account

https://www.goodreads.com/user/show/1...

I did use the option "Is this you? Let us know." but didn't get any response for more than a month.

Any idea what I have to do to link those books to my actual account.

Goodreads Librarians are not employees of Goodreads, but volunteers. They have no control over approvals of Goodreads Author status. If you are having a problem with yours, you'll need to use the Contact Us link on the Help page.

Krasimir Tsonev | 3 comments Interesting.

I see "Is this you? Let us know." and I click on the "Let us know". I assumed that "us" means the people behind GoodReads. On that new page I see:

"Are you Krasimir Tsonev, author of the books below?". Yes, I am.

"To claim your profile to promote your work, please provide the following information:" I did it once and got feedback that the information wasn't enough. I did it again and no response since then.

On that same page I saw "Alternatively, join the Goodreads Librarians Group and provide them with a link and the necessary information for separating the incorrect titles." I did and now I'm forwarded to https://www.goodreads.com/about/conta...

Quite a long process :) I'll fill the form on the contact-us page the best I can. Let's see.

P.S.
Can you please describe to me what "Goodreads Librarians" means. Are those community users.

That is for when not all the titles on the author page are your own books. Librarians can then move your books to a new author profile, so that you can claim that profile.

Goodreads Librarians are regular Goodreads users who have applied for and received librarian status. They help with book edits.

Approval of Goodreads Author status is done by staff. Nothing librarians can do to help.
