Stephanie | 5 comments My husband and I both read a sci-fi book in 2017 that had many characters and plot lines that wove together, from a woman that lived in Argentina on a cattle ranch, to an older man living on a floating island/world/ship that held knowledge, but then there was also something about radios not working anymore (possibly because "strings" or something about harmonics were involved??) and then a dome world in Los Angeles. I *believe* these are all the same book even though they are very disparate topics, and have looked for ages for books that contain floating worlds but haven't found it. Thanks in advance for any help!

Stephanie | 5 comments It's possible that the cover was purple and had a musical note or symbol on it? Maybe written by a woman?

Stephanie | 5 comments That’s not it either, unfortunately. It could have had Silver in the title maybe?
