Unable to add author pages with specific spelling to book pages

Hi, so I came across Shô Aimoto, which previously only had this on its profile. Upon examination, it's true that Sho Aimoto's first name really is spelled as "Shô" for French editions (seen on book covers) and since it's not the primary spelling, I went changing it to Sho Aimoto with the intention of adding "Shô Aimoto" as the secondary author... and failed. What's worse, I can't even revert the change, so now "Shô Aimoto" has no works listed, even though aside from , the specific spelling is applicable for the following editions as well: , , , and .

Any way to make it work? Thanks

If the names are "too similar", you may have this problem. Usually I just add an extra space between first and last name, even if it's not really needed (no other authors with this name exist), and this way the second name finally "sticks".

Ohhh!! Thank you so much! It worked! I changed "Shô^Aimoto" to "Shô^^Aimoto" and was able to add it!
