Cait (clickcait) | 480 comments Good luck with your list. :-)

I'm planning on rereading The Lord of the Rings for my trilogy as well.

EllenZReads I keep fiddling around with my list...keep reading other people's posts about the books they want to read! I seem to have a lot of classics or popular reads in my plan, most of which are NOT re-reads--I somehow missed a lot of classics back in the day!

Cait (clickcait) | 480 comments Me too. Just when I think I've settled on a book, I spot someone else's list and realise that they've picked a much better one than me, hehe.

I've also missed out on a lot of classics, which I'm hoping to remedy. It's a lot easier now I've got my Kindle and can get them for free (and save the shelf space at home)!

EllenZReads I am just hoping the classics I've picked aren't too difficult or boring (maybe I tried them in high school and couldn't get into them? I honestly don't remember). :)

Jennifer Barstad (maidenoflight) I have a lot of classics too. I am also struggling with some of the books i've already chosen after seeing what others have picked. I think i'm only going to change 1 or 2 though, haven't decided yet. Oh and if you haven't already read Eragon, it's a great book! I've read the whole series, just wish they would make the other books into movies now, lol.

Thanks, Jennifer. I read an article about the author of Eragon and it got me interested in reading the series so I figured this was a good opportunity to start the series. I didn't see the movie.

Cait (clickcait) | 480 comments I usually find myself pleasantly surprised by the classics and find them a lot more readable than I'd expected in the past. I suspect that's part of what makes them classics. ;-)

The only one I've ever really struggled with was Moby Dick, that was a tricky read, hehe.

EllenZReads I can honestly say I don't remember if I read Moby Dick. I can't believe I didn't...but I just don't know. So I oughta read it again sometime...
