SOLVED. 18 year old female slave/ involves elves and magic. [s]

-she is a slave and about to turn 18 (when slaves are killed)

-she is referred to as a number I think

-she is the oldest slave but she didn't realize that it is because they are killed off (they weren't allowed to attend some ceremony)

-she ends up being saved (this is all at the very beginning) by someone high in the society (i think it was a mage or wizard) and he takes her under his wing

-at the castle their is a male elf slave who is being forced to make weapons against his own kind (he is chained up in some sort of basement or dungeon and the chains force him to work)

I would say new adult and I read it a couple months ago. I believe it has been published within 2019.

Also, I forgot to mention that elves hate (whatever she is) and her people. They're technically enemies.
