Kat (kate_schechter) | 39 comments I recently listened to "Aunt Agatha Speaks Her Mind" (ISBN 9780857866011), a short story from the collection "The Inimitable Jeeves" (Jeeves, #2).

Figured since it is a separate recording of just this story, with a unique ISBN, and is listed as a separate title in various catalogs, it ought to get entered into Goodreads. I created a record for it, but realize it was added an an edition of "The Inimitable Jeeves", rather than as a separate work.

Can someone correct this, and tell me what the right way would have been to create the book?

Here's the link to the entry:
Aunt Agatha Speaks Her Mind

cheers

Goodreads has three ways for a user to add a book to the database: (for your book, you would have wanted to use option 2 below)

1) If there is another edition of the book already in the catalog, click on "Add a new edition". This fills in the Title and Author. It will also automatically combine the book with the other existing edition(s) of the book in the database.

2) If the author has a book in the database, but not an edition of that book: Go to the author's page. Click on where it says "Author Name's Books" and scroll to the very bottom of the page. You will see "* Note: these are all the books on Goodreads for this author. To add more books, click here." This fills in the correct author name, but no other information. Useful if there is more than one author with the same name.

3) If the author doesn't have a book in Goodreads. Search for the title and on the results page (top right) you can click on "Manually add a book". It will give you a blank form to add your book.
