Madrigal shows Arsinoe how to use low magic. She is warned that using low magic comes at a price. What are the negative outcomes of their use of low magic? What are the positive? Does the positive outweigh the negative? Would you use low magic?

I think in most instances throughout the book, using low magic was a bad decision or too risky. There were quite a few setbacks or prices that the characters had to pay because of it. However, there wouldn't have been quite as much conflict or twists in the plot without it being used.
