More plot details: The main character was a apprentice smith that had a father that wanted him to grow up as a smith. He argued with his father and eventually left the village to go adventuring. He travels along a valley or a river, either one, and stops at a nearby small town, where he is being hunted by some wolf creatures. He is taken in by an inn keeper and stays the night, possibly doing some work for the inn. He continues his journey, finding a cave with a dobby-like creature, that helps him on his journey. Together, they have to travel through a dense forest where elves live, and encounter a crack shot with a bow. The elf joins them, and eventually, they end up at a castle, or the capital of the country. They are taken prisoner and put in the castles dungeon, where they break out, and using a sword that the boy forged, or the father forged for him, stabs the antagonist who took over the castle, which sucks him into a throne. That's about all I remember.

!! This book also had a map in the very beginning showing the boys journey across the land !!

I read the book from my elementary school library, which was early 2010's. I've been looking for it for a while, and can't find anything. I remember the book possibly had a green cover with a picture in the center, and the series of books revolved around a sword that either the protagonist or the father made. The father might've been dead or missing in the story.

I might be combining the plots of the books into one, because its been such a long while, but I feel the antagonist being sucked into the throne is the most memorable part. I hope one of you knows what this is. It's killing me.
