I have only just started it this week so I'm cheating a bit here (less than half way through) I'm reading Unbroken.
I'm cheating a bit as well. I started a couple books yesterday. I'm giving myself a leeway of 2-3 days before the New Year to get this started...As for this challenge I'm going with Alive by Piers Paul Read (the plane that crashed in the Andes back in '72). This also doubles as my mom's favorite book.
Update- have finished unbroken. Fantastic read. Got a little bogged down in the middle but it picked up. I didn't realise a lot of the war crimes in World War II were committed against American soldiers. Off to see the movie on Thursday!
