"I get it." Hazel lays down putting her hands over her stomach peacefully. "But for me, its different. I need to be high. On the roof, on the higher ground. It calms me down. I feel the wind, and the view up high -it makes me feel like i can see everyone. When i was younger this was fascinating to me. Now it like its just a part of me, watching all the people. I must sound crazy." Hazel laughs.

Carter shook his head. "It makes sense. We each have our places where we feel at peace. Maybe sometime this week or next week if you want we can go somewhere up high." He ran his hand through the grass and smiled . "What are you doing when you feel most at peace?" He asked curious .

"It depends. It may be hanging out with my friends, or like when I am near you, i feel safe and happy. It isnt really the place i guess, just the memories that come with it." Hazel sighs, turning onto her side. She curls up,after letting her hair down

Carter smiled at Hazel's words and nodded. "I get that. I can feel peace when I'm with people close to me and also when I'm running. Sometimes when I run I feel like nothing else exists and I can run forever." He reached over to the picnic basket and pulled out a handful of chocolate covered strawberries. He offered her some.
Hazel took one, nodding. She popped it in, savoring the sweetness. She sat up, inching toward Carter
Carter causally moved a bit closer to her. And then a bit more watching her with his different colored eyes.
Hazel gazed at him, and put her hand on his shoulder, pressing him closer.
Carter whispered "You're beautiful" and leaned forward a bit lightly brushing his lips to hers.
Hazel pressed passionately back, climbing into his lap. She mumbled out a ILY.((hey umm...before they do the tat thing....can we deem them bf+gf first?))
((ya he will ask)) Carter circled his arms around her waist pulling her closer to him and kissed her. After they finished he closed his eyes and hummed with delight. "You taste like strawberries." He said .
Careful not to let her dress blow up, Hazel sat back down
Carter rubbed his hair nervously and then said "Hazel, I love you and this is a terrible speech and not how I rehearsed it but will you be my girlfriend?"
Hazel stared at him
Carter looked up afraid. Did he mess it up? What did he do wrong? Was it too soon?
Hazel leaned down, and grabbed another strawberry. "Yes. I do." Hazel beamed at him, and turned around. She hurried back to him. Noticing his look, she asked what was wrong

Carter breathed a sigh of relief. "You almost gave me a heart attack." He pulled her close and kissed her one more time. ( (I gotta go so I'm gonna pretend that they fell asleep here on the tablecloth))

Zorras ran all the way to the fields. He climbed up a tree, as far as he could get.
