Based on reviews and the fact that I love a war hero, I think book 3 might be good. If you read only one more, you can add to your series challenge.

I am finished with this too — it’s about a 3.5 star read for me. Haven’t decided if I am rounding up or not. What worked for me is the anticipation and build up. I did think the series premise weak. Family dynamics were fun, but I agree with Alex that there were too many characters. May add more thoughts later.

Yes, I did enjoy the small details like her wearing the green dress, the lillies and the stockings etc. It definitely helped make their relationship seem more plausible.

I have just started to read this book today. Have not read any comments yet, but will when I have read some more of the story. Up to now I like the banter between Tristian and Georgiana, Seems like a bit of a love hate relationship, with a past.

So I just finished it and I would rate it with three stars.I have to say for me it was an okay reading,not the best but not oh so bad either.I am really curious to read the 3rd one though...Robert kind of seems interesting personality :O

I enjoyed this story. Like Both Tristan and Georgiana. Loved the banter between the Carroway family. Amelia was a little conniving bitch.

Finished, liked, am very curious about Robert's story - the third installment of the series. What I absolutely loved about Tristan was that he did not try to find excuses for what he had done and for years just 'took it' from Georgiana without protesting too much. He also showed a very healthy determination once he decided he wanted her and was honest about it. I wish there was more about them after marriage - a wedding night would not have hurt :)

So, I just finished the entire series and I will say I really liked Robert's and Lucinda's story! The ending wasn't as abrupt either, which is how I felt about 'The Rake'. This BOTM I felt left much to be desired in the end. However, Evelyn's story was my favorite (the second story).
