You can tell this is an earlier work, when she was too green to know better, because she just ‘let out a breath she didn’t know she was holding’. Cute! Baby V 🙃

Still feel like we're waiting to see where the story is going. I'm already hating the uncle with his "do what I say at all times" - grr!

Yeah, he is very old rules about that. This story is extremely slow moving, however I did like the scene at the window, where for a moment everything turns into a scene from Skyline/X-Files, and I half expected some bobbly antennae’d aliens to be messing about outside.
