A Hermaphrodite is a person/animal/thing that has both reproductive systems.
Ambiguous genitalia is extra stuff on a person. Like, a guy having actual boobs, but still being mostly a guy. Or a girl having dangly bits, but still mostly a girl. Though, she wouldn't have balls (hide spoiler)]
Just a little lesson in biology.
