First, allow me to apologize if I am setting this group and its various discussions incorrectly. I have very little experience with discussion boards.

That being said... let's start our discussion!

So far, I am so in love with the writing style that Alice Hoffman has graced us with; contained within the pages of this book! There are hardly any words I can use to describe the feeling I get when I jump down the rabbit hole and transport to a whole other world.

Rain is a character that, so far, shows such resilience, patience, and understanding towards her mother. She awaits her turn without resentment. Only hope that she will one day catch the attention of the one who gave birth to her.

I am not even halfway through and I already love this book. I do reserve the right to change my mind in the event things go south.

What are some of your thoughts on the book so far?
