Spoiler: I'm looking for a book series I read 3-5 years ago. I stopped reading the book there was another book coming out in a year. I remember the characters including shape shifters and vampires who find their life mates in human women with enhanced powers (psychic, etc). The series is about a nemesis that creates a chemical that removes the life bond between mates so he can steal a lifemate. There are several wars, a mountain lair, brilliant woman scientist who helps to create an antidote. And a young girl everyone is protecting until she comes of age and would somehow be the key in the upcoming war against their enemies. She also has a bond with the son of the enemy which keeps them linked. I'm looking for the author or title of the book series. I was reading it at the same time as Linsay Sands and I remember them being similar. Thank you!
