Hi. I love King’s books and I’ve been going through a bit of a plot twist craze lately. I was wondering which King books had a good plot twist in them:

SK isn't really the "plot twist" type, but Duma Key and The Stand have some moments that may surprise or shock you. Also, as Lily mentioned, The Outsider is good. The "twist" happens pretty early and be forewarned that it is connected to the Bill Hodges Trilogy and there is a HUGE spoiler in The Outsider. The Bill Hodges Trilogy is a Detective series that introduces Holly Gibney(my favorite king character since the Dark Tower characters). Holly is the main character in The Outsider. The trilogy is well worth the read as well, book 2, is my favorite.

Ah....yes! The Good Marriage does have a nice little twist, so does Big Driver which is in the same collection. Those are both Adult oriented novellas and if I remember correctly Wyatt is one of our younger SK readers, so I'm not sure if it's something he would be interested in, but that is an excellent collection. Full Dark, No stars I believe is the collection. 1922 is also in that collection.
I think you guys are right, that his two biggest twists are in A Good Marriage and Big Driver. Others. like The Outsider are too early to be what I would call a twist. It's funny that they are in the same collection.
I think The Outsider would have been better there had been no ‘twist’ halfway through and had remained true to the first half. Lost all the tension and buildup there. Thank you for the suggestions.
I read a good Marriage recently and thought it was really good. Reminded me of Mr Mercedes in all the best ways. It was a foray into Kings short stories and I think I might finally buy a collection!
