Colleen Mertens | 39 comments So far this month I have finished Conceal, Don't Feel from the Twisted Tale series. That retelling of Frozen is one of my favorites from that series. I also finished Cold Mountain. It tells of one mans walk back home after he deserts from the confederate army after recovering from a wound and the woman he is walking home. How they've changed and grown from their experiences from the Civil War is interesting to read. It is a somber book in many respects but sometimes it felt relevant in our current times.

Colleen Mertens | 39 comments I just finished the Cleric Quintet Series with the Chaos Curse by RA Salvatore. It was a different book in a fantasy series with a twist I didn't see coming. It was probably my least favorite in that series.

Colleen Mertens | 39 comments So I finished Star Wars Old Republic Revan which introduces one of the more interesting Jedi I have ever met. The lines between light and dark are more realistic. The characters are interesting and there are more Sith than one thinks out in the expanded universe. I also read a couple of kids books that I ordered for my niece,Cautious Chameleon and Dogs, Dogs. Both of them are really cute. I also finished a non-fiction book called Dancing Through Life. It talks about living your dreams and offers practical advice on how to do that. I won it in a Goodreads contest and I really liked that little book.

These sound good.

I highly recommend THE ROAD BACK by Erich Maria Remarque. It is the sequel to ALL QUIET ON THE WESTERN FRONT. It tells the story of the soldiers returning from WWI and returning, or trying to return, to their lives prior to the war. This is even better than the original book.
