Characters that I absolutely adore are Magnus Bane, Alec and Simon!! Especially Magnus!! I can't wait to see more of him and Alec in the next books! (hide spoiler)]

And one thing which greatly improved my reading experience with this book than the previous one was how we get to see things from a bunch of characters this time instead of just Clary!

I don't remember why Clary's mother is in the hospital either... But this was good start, Valentine is propably behind all the killings and he's making them look like vampires would have done them.
