iiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii was saying this same thing. these guys are old as hell. at first i didn't even notice it because, 'oh wow romance and magic' but when i was done i realized how old tella is and how old legend is, (crimson and julian too).

I was thinking the exact same thing after I read the book. Also the fact that Julian and Legend are brothers but Tella and Scarlet are sisters

Chloe it was like she hoped that we wouldnt notice. because at the end we saw tella wanting to basically run away with legend... and well...... ion know about ttthhhhaaaaaaaatttttttt

Chloe yeah you're definitely speaking facts. because the reason why i was so in love with caraval(the first book) in the first place was because of the wohole 'magical game' thing. but then the rest was just this... weird love story along with crimson and tella constantly talking and doing garbage and ... sigh. at least give us love interests that aren't 50 years old for 17 year olds.

yes oh my god why is that never talked about... those guys were the same age as their grandmother, because wasn't tella and Scarlet's grandma the reason legend became legend.
they are like 70, and don't even get me started on Jacks he's like as old as the universe

Anika Nasir Yes...I was exactly thinking the same

Abbie-Lee Hargreaves I agree, no one brings up the age factor and at the end of Legendary, Tella revealed that she was 15 and it was her 16th birthday. As much as I loved the books, I wished the author did not deem it necessary to add that detail as it changed my view on the characters and added a bit of creep factor and to the males relationships with the female characters. Older/ageless/immortal men falling deeply and devastatingly in love with teenagers? Why do authors think we want this? Then again, Twilight fans ate it up but it’s still creepy.

Sanjana Sannamari Omgg yess! I kept waiting for this to be addressed at some point of the book🙄 Why add the part about Anna and Legend if it supposedly has no significance? (someone else could have been his interest) And how does it never cross Tella's mind?😂

And yes, it didn't have to be a whole sibling thing either. Unnecessary connections made tbh.

Many plot holes in the series actually😐 And I totally agree with Caraval being a standalone.

Aly Jean Wasnt it her 17th birthday? And Legend is ageless so it's not worst than any vampire story

Shabnam Pretty sure it was her 17th birthday
