Can I change my name from D.C. Renee to DC Renee

Would there be a problem if I did this? On all my social media & selling accounts, there are no periods. As a result, it confuses a lot of people when there are periods here. I see a lot of other authors with no periods so I don’t think it’s an issue but wanted to double check just in case. Thank you!

Sorry, it is Goodreads policy to have periods after initials. If someone doesn't have them and they are a Goodreads Author, then they have changed them against policy.

For what it's worth, punctuation is not taken into account when searching for an author in the search field.

thank you for letting me know. is there a way to provide feedback to goodreads on this policy? it just seems like author names should stay consistent across all platforms and if they dont have periods on all the others, they shouldn't here too. some kind of suggestions/comments section maybe?
