70 book reading challenge this year, including all the S&L choices, picks for another book club, some re-reads of titles I haven't read since high school, like Lord of the Flies, some recent releases like Ancillary Sword, The Peripheral, and The Bone Clocks, Shadow Scale as soon as it comes out, more Catherynne M. Valente, and the shorter of unread books I have stacked in my apt (graphic novels get high priority for helping with the challenge! ;) Saga will be the first of those).

Stephen Richter (stephenofskytrain) | 1644 comments Besides all the S&L picks I have the last two of the Mazalan series, MacDonald's Flashman papers book 6 & above, Duron's Accused King BK 4 and above and pare down the list of books from D&D's Inspirational reading list. Plus all the 2014 book I overlooked.

Wow. That seems oddly specific.

It's an oddly specific chapter.

Pat (patthebadger) | 100 comments I Managed 64 last year so I'm going to go for 70 this year.

I've got a vague resolution to read all the books in the SF Masterworks series that I haven't already read as a way of getting to some of those 'classics' that I've missed over the years - but then I said that last year as well. My new, less vague plan is to alternate new/classic/new/classic... I (optimistically) think I can stick with this until at least the end of spring before I break it.
