Venus bit her lip again, so much so she tasted blood. She swallowed hard hating the taste

Sky took it all in. "And...thats why?" ((sorry gtg again))
She nodded and said softly, “That’s why… I got bad foster parents, met terrible people, and no one can be trusted.”
"Well...what about me?" SKy looked hopeful
“Uhhhh…” Venus’s eyes widen, “I don’t know you that well… so… maybe?”
Venus nods, “You’re welcome?”
"For not running away." Sky clarified. And while Sky knew she shouldnt be feeling happiness, she couldnt help it. She made a friend! Well, sorta.
Venus sat up straight and gave her a half smile, “Well… I’m trying.”
"Thats good. Wanna swing?" She knew to probably not to keep Venus uncomfortable any longer. Sky points to the playground, where most of the kids had left and the rest still there were leaving. A couple of swings stood lonely and a breeze rippled across((lost internet will be on and off))
Venus nodded, “Yes please.” She looked at the kids disappointed faces as they left. She sighed a little bit and sat down on a swing. She swung a little but didn’t go very high.
Sky walked around her. "Want a push?" She held out her hands.
"Why not?" Sky walked behind her, waiting.
“Huh?” Venus looked confused but she was smiling
Sky started pushing gently, until Venus is higher than her. "Higher?" She yells
Venus’s smile was giant, “Higher!”
Sky pushed faster and harder, until she stepped back to watch Venus swing back and forth, almost soaring right off
Venus laughed and smiled, “Yay!” She couldn’t believe she had missed this when she was little. Then she fell off. She went flying and skidded on the pavement
Sky flashed over. "One sec." She teleported out.
Venus rolled over and groaned. Her face was bleeding and scratched
Sky flashed in. She had a medical kit and set to bandaging her.
Venus tried to wave her off, “No…”
“I don’t know…” Venus wiped her blood face, realizing she had no reason, “Never mind, care on.”
Sky laughed. "It only looks like a few cuts and scratches...plus a bruise. But you didnt hit your head so you should be fine." She cradeled Venuses head for a second longer.
Venus looked up at her and gave a half smile, “Thank you.”
Sky dusted her off once more before glancing at her watch. " I gotta go, its getting late. Bye!" She teleported to her dorm
Venus’s head hit the floor, “Owww… Bye?” She stood up and sat back on the bench
Venus leaves, she was getting cold...
Jacob walks to the playground and sees Aarna on the swing with a few more kids of her age.
Lyla walks in. Her balance wasn’t the best, and she wasn’t the most stable, but she didn’t let it show. She walks over to Jacob. “Hey again.” She was wearing a flowy cream-coloured tank top and jeans that went just past her knees so they hide the bullet wound.
" Hi beautiful " he smiled. Aarna didn't notice them at all. She got of the swing and ran around the playground with another girl.
“Miss me?” Lyla teases. “Hi Aarna!” she calls.
" A bit " he replied.Aarna turned to see her sister there and ran towards her, grinning.
Lyla smiles. “Of course you missed me,” she tells Jacob. She smiles at Aarna. “Hey you.”
He smiled" Hi sis ! " Aarna said grinning.
Lyla pulls her into a hug. “Sorry we took so long. It’s a long story.”
[Edlyn]She swung by herself. It was upsetting she couldn’t tell Lyla what was going on.
Aarna frowns when she sees Edlyn all alone and walks towards her.
Jacob sat down beside her but he was looking at Edlyn worriedly.
Lyla saw him watching Edlyn. “What’s wrong?”
" I don't know. It's just so depressing to see her alone like that "
