And yeah, it’s weird how Tessa is jace’s centuries old great million times grandmother 😂
But Mina is so weird? Like her family? She has Kit who’s great great however many times uncle (or cousin?) Will was married to her mom. And she has half siblings who died like a century ago. So how on earth would you explain that to her??
And she’s related to Emma as a cousin too, and the blackthorns (through Lucie I think plus Kit at some point) and probably the lightwoods somehow too

True but with all the ones we’ve seen it’s only the ones from GB and USA taht are interconnected. We barley have seen shadowhuners from South America, Asia, Canada, and other parts of Europe, or Australia. It’s hard to say how many are interconnected bc we don’t see any one else

No it’s more like they acknowledge Raziel made them. In TDA you can see Emma say she doesn’t care for the Angel much, but Cristina does. It’s more of a government than anything.

It’s more like... take for example, in, say, the world of TOG, they have Gods. They acknowledge they exist, but not everyone actually prays or cares for them. I see the shadowhunters like that with Angels. And it can’t be a religion as shadowhuners learn to respect all religions. Idk but yeah
Yeah I mean I always though it was this communal belief system, but only a few people (Shadowhunters?) actually call it a religion.

I have a feeling that your theory that one of the main immortal characters will die but I am so scared. I feel like as long as it isn’t Magnus I might survive but I can’t imagine Tessa dying either! Out of the three main female protagonists she was my favourite by far but I can see how it could be a monument moment of her being like reunited with Will in the afterlife or something. Do Warlocks and Shadowhunters even have the same afterlife in the Shadowhunter world? I’m a bit confused by their whole belief system to be honest.

I'm a little late to join the conversation but I just wanted to say that Emma's middle name being Cordelia might have nothing to do with Cordelia's line coz they tend to give their kids middle names after people they love. so it might be that she's a Carstair from Cordelia's line or she might be from another family who's close to Cordelia like Alastair's.does that make sense?

I actually think that TWP greatest threat it's gonna be the giant demons that we met in QOAD. I don't think that is just a coincide that Cassie have wrote that. I mean, when Jem told Emma and Julian about what happened with them in the Imperishable Fields, he told them about the story of the real Nephilim. The ones that had to fight against the threat of the giant demons 800 year ago back in the earth and he also told that them just dissapeared like out of the nothing from the earth causing that shadowhunters never have to convert again so they lost that abilities. That and the fact that Magnus later told Ty that giants Nephilims are actually like messangers from the heaven, make me think that the Angel Raziel are trying to warn Shadowhunters about something big that it´s coming (perhaps giant demons again). Taking into account also that now we know about that demons can come from Thule (and we all know that it´s a actually a danger dimention) maybe The Cohort are trying to make something with that. I really don´t trust them. I don´t think that they just gonna stay in Alicante "trying to reborn everything the way it have to be". Also considering that we readed a lot of times in TDA about what is the real purpose of Shadowhunters. Kill demons. I think that Cassie have write a lot about downworldes and now it´s turn to read to what really Shadowhunters are made for.Also I think that we are going to know Tessa demon father´s and that he´s gonna be involved in the story. Because it's weird how Tess was cured without a cure of the plague and also how Tessa´s version of thule still had magic. I think that it´s all connected. To finish, I can´t remember right now where I read, that Cassie said that in TWP it´s gonna involved all the Shadowhunters characters we have read. Maybe now that Livvy ghost exist, she´s gonna someway make that old characters appear in that same form to help Shadowhunters.
tessa's demon father is already present in the last hours. i doubt cassie will bring him back as a villain again
Yeah. I mean we see tessa’s dad aleready in TLH and he’s a main plot point there so I don’t know if he’ll have a main focus out of all the princes in TWP. I agree we need demons more but it seems like we’ll see lots of faeries with the whole kit being the first heir, lost Herondale , had powers, etc.
i'm not sure livvy could summon other ghosts. it would be cool to see the characters from tid and tlh in the twp tho.
I have not had the opportunity to start the last hours, but it's good to know that. Thanks. Well, I think i'll rule that out xd

Yeah, I agree with you. I don't think we're gonna stop seeing more about downworlders in TWP. I think will still being a major part, but now like real allieds.

I don’t want the TID and TLH cast back tho bc they already fought their fight and are peaceful at rest and idk it feels rude to yank them back to life:(I love them more than any other cast but I don’t want them to feel more pain.
I really hope Cassie does more demon things than it seems rn bc they are more interesting in my opinion than the faeries who just literally are making their own problems
i'd like them to be at peace, i really want them since they had so many things happen to them, but i also want to see them again in another series, i want them to meet their descendants.
@Eli tbh I need to reread tda coz I don't remember that much emphasis on giant demons but if it's true then it's probably something big.I also have this question, Sebastian and Jace were bound by the rune but in Thule Sebastian died and Thule Jace still lived.
about livvy making others appear, I just had this crazy theory. what if Lucie when resurrected Jesse and married him, the controlling of ghosts power somehow descended through the Blackthorns and that's how livvy might do it but lol she herself is a ghost.
and I do agree with @El but I think since Belial always has a tether in the real world, he won't die or be stopped easily.
plus Cassie's faeries! I love faeries! esp after all the scenes from TDA and the short story in TFTSA when Simon meets Mark.
and I love tid cast the most too! :/ but true. faeries always have their problems and right now it's kit. *eye roll*
I found on a blog that Cassie said that in TWP Jace, Clary, Izzy, Simon... and other characters from TID will narrate from their perspective. For me that make sense, cause it's the finale of the entire world of Shadowhunters (sadly). We also know that Cassandra really love make cameos in their stories. Quick question, what books next after TID?
Yeah xd, I mean. Their is a lot of things that QOAD leaved in the air and there is a lot of people that are major important. The giant demons story appear in QOAD finishing the book.
