I am 107 pages into book and I am really loving being back into this story I love everything about it. I love the characters so much I like the little bits that make them who they are. I like how the loss of one of them Cat is so palpable in all of the characters each of them misses something about her. I really like the relationships between the characters the growing romance of Auri and Kal the wonderful sibling relationship between Scarlett and Tyler and how they treat each other like family. I am liking the plot so far with the group on the run and being falsely accused of something they did not do. They run into trouble and are now on their way to somewhere else. So overall I am loving this book so much will continue soon.

Definitely ship Auri and Kal! Tyler and Scarlett have a cool sibling relationship for sure. I miss Cat

I am 215 pages into this book and I am really enjoying it so much. I really like all of the characters but I really like how Auri and Kali are getting closer every day. I like the other characters and learning more about them makes them so much easier to understand. I am really enjoying the plot very much so they are still are on the run some things have happened I will continue soon.

I am 302 pages into this book it is still good and I have a feeling the endings not going to resolve anything. I still love the characters at this part I really like Tyler and Scarlett their bond is just so profound. I am really liking the plot they are stuck where the were before most of them escape. The story is really good its just not easy to explain since not much has happened since I last left off in the story. So overall it is really good will continue soon.

I am 409 pages into this book and I am even sure of the fact there will no good ending and nothing will be resolved. I still love the character but there are a few things I just can't get over (view spoiler)[Why does the sins of the father have to reflect back on the son Kal that is I hate it when books do this so freaking much it ruins so much (hide spoiler)] I am really liking the plot so far with the bits with Tyler and Saedii I really loved how Kal and Auri can as close as it is possible to be then some things came out that just ruin everything. After this I am going to have to read something more light hearted.

I am finished this book had the most painful cliffhanger I have read in awhile it just rips out your heart and stomps on it. I still loved the characters there seems to be a little bit of hope at the end I really hope things get better by the time the next book releases. I still loved the plot even with how it all ended they continue on their way to save people with one less person. There are some things that happen that are just heart breaking but there is a bit of hope in the darkness. I want the sequel so much I loved this book even with its ups and downs.

Everything seems to be going wrong. Tyler has been taken by the GIA. Scarlett is heartbroken. Finn is struggling. Kal is hurt and is raging because Auri has been sedated.

I love the backstory for Zila. I was genuinely sobbing while reading. Especially when she keeps repeating herself that she’s no longer feeling nothing 😭. It makes me teary just saying it.

Also does anyone else think that they sent their own gifts into that box? Also does the hawks on Zila’s earrings mean she’s good at flying? I feel like this has played out before but I don’t know how.
