Duke Rogan apparently has had his eye on Nora for some time. Was that enough background for you to accept the apparent intensity of his interest in her?

It was for me. They had be dancing around each other for over two years. I was ticked she refused to go out with him for so long. Nora was sure displaying her martyr nature for him.

It was OK with me. We knew they were acquainted and that he was interested in her. That was enough for me.

It was okay for me, too, eliminating the insta-love situation. He outlined the context and what he found intriguing in her so it worked.
