The sky is grey with cloud but we are back to 24C and no rain in sight.

We have had miserable, cold, rainy, icy weather here for at least the last week. It is finally clearing up and we're supposed to have 3 or 4 beautiful days. I can't wait!
Hello everyone! It is a beautiful sunny day here with the promise of sunshine all week so it is a great day for reading your fave book.
33* F and feels like 25* F. Sunny and frost on the trees. I think the way below zero is past us now.
The weather was beautiful unfortunately been smelling chicken poop from nearby farm fields.
We are in our transitional season, always 'fun'.So far we have had a dust storm with intermittent light rain. Not enough water to clear the atmosphere but enough to turn some of the dust to mud which it then deposited all over our car and balcony!
Then we had strong winds which nearly blew our BBQ grill off the balcony.
On Friday we drove my Dad for a condolance visit and the skies opened. Luckily my DH likes driving in the rain and was pleased that the mud was finally washed off the car.
Then Saturday it was hot and sunny so we took a walk along the local promendade.
Today the forecast said sunny so I wore a skirt and nice shoes but now there is a wind brewing and the sky is looking dark. If it rains and ruins my shoes I shall be highly miffed.
Every day can bring something special ! You can say: "It is a shitty rainy weather" or "How beautiful are the drops of rain on the window. The rain is a painter". Change your view on the weather, and the weather will change for you.

After a dust storm and torrential rain we now have a heatwave. Yesterday it was 30C outside but I shut the apartment uptight and maintained a chilly 22C.Today I am in the office. Thank goodness for air conditioning!
Three days have past since I posted about the heatwave.Yesterday it got a little cooler.
Today the temps have dropped right down and a strong wind has turn the sea into a raging mass of green glass and white foam. Then 30mins ago the skies opened.
Fortunately it is supposed to get warmer by Thursday when we have Independence Day.
It was a sunny day with a nice cool little breeze and Mother's day weather is expected to a beautiful weather day too!
It's supposed to be beautiful here tomorrow for Mother's Day, 75* and partly sunny. Perfect day. :)
We are well into summer. It is already 29C at 9:30am with an expected high of 34C. Today is a workday for us but at least I get to sit in an air-conditioned office.
I think it's going to rain..but there aren't many clouds...I still think it would rain...?!
Sunny and warm in North Carolina.
Well we decided to visit one of the hottest areas of the country during a mini-heatwave so were wandering around unshaded archeological sights in 39C.It was quite a relief yesterday when we went to an outdoor meet-up where it was only 28C with a refreshing breeze. Today at 25C is positively chilly.
Here on Vancouver Island, we have been blessed with almost 2 months of sun and reasonably warm temperatures. When I see what is going on in the rest of the world, I realise what a blessing this is. Many wild fires in BC, and dreadful flooding in Europe....I really hope that governments take note of the UN "Code Red" alert.
Hot and Humid and unbearable. Have to hibernate by the air conditioner with a good book.
It's been hot and humid here too. I can't wait to move once my kids graduate high school. It's amazing to think some people still believe climate change doesn't exist!
A recent news article reported that in the 1960s we used to have 10-20 days of temps over 30C each year. Now we have 80-100. No wonder we stay in the A/C.
Sunny today but Oregon's weather has always been a hormonal woman: we never know what we're going to get! Hehe :D

Icy rain here tonight too. Think the roads will be icy in the morning, my boys get to stay home from school due to weather.
NJ here and we hit 0 (zero) last night!! 13 degrees when I woke up this AM but now it a lovely 24 but at least no precipitation.
COLD. I have the fire going in our wood burning stove, a cup of hot chocolate and plan to start on my new cozy mystery.
30 degrees & we're awaiting the blizzard (the weather people's word for it not mine) to arrive tonight. NJ shore is supposed to get the worst of it but we're expecting 6-9 up here.
I guess we're suppose to get some snow flurries soon and a whole 1 inch of snow overnight. I'm not sure though, guess I'll know for sure when I wake up in the morning and look outside.

It should be sunny but we are blanketed by smoke from forest fires in Washington State and from Alberta depending on which way the wind is blowing. :-(
