Main character is a young girl (teenager or young adult) I recall the book art cover being purple with an image of something like smoke. The book is in the horror or thriller genre I believe. It talks about Hallows Eve and these spirit like creatures that take over peoples bodies during this time of year. I can’t remember anything else for the life of me :c
