The cover of this book was a blue butterfly, maybe with a girl. This book takes place in the future, I believe, because it's sci-fi. There is this new technology in medicine that is not yet legal and it's basically blue goop inside you i stead of blood, that keeps you alive. I believe the author is female and that I read the book around 2013-2015
