A young woman in a futuristic world is the daughter of a high ranking official (general maybe?) and a very beautiful model/fashion maven and is the product of their marriage contract. She takes her speeder/cruiser on a ride on a planet and crashes and meets a man who had been stranded there for a while. Story really centers around them and their relationship. Published sometime in the 90s possibly 80s, light read, has some line illustrations scattered throughout.
