Cat went up the stairs after Mason, watching him turn down the mass of comforters and sheets. It looked so inviting, and she crawled in as soon as she saw it. Her body slid into the bed, barely even paying attention to how Mason was getting in. But then she saw his arm in a perfect spot for her head to rest, so she laid her head close to him. Right by his chest, really, since he was so warm. Cat was right beside him in the bed, she pulled the covers up to her chin and stayed comfy next to him "Here, I'll find something." She told him, reaching for the remote and turning on the TV that was in perfect view. She turned it on and flipped some channels, finding just a couple of things in the channels. "Well we could watch a comedy, like The Big Bang Theory?? Or we could watch something a little more scary, Supernatural?? Both of them are really good." She promised, her brown eyes looking up at him.

Cat nodded and flicked to the right channel, she wanted to watch the comedy show too, it would be more relaxing for the both of them. Her head snuggled against Mason as she placed the remote on the nearest side table, then jumped some when she felt Daisy up on the bed. She'd never been allowed pets before, so she wasn't used to a puppy just jumping up next to her. She liked it though, and was ready to respect what Mason said to his dog, but when Diasy just snuggled closer, Cat waved Mason off. "It's okay, she's really warm too. Now I have two furnaces." Se said with a light smile, curling up against Masons side. She was surprised how comfortable she could dwelt with this man, but hey she wasn't complaining. Her eyes were barely open anymore, she was half watching the show, half thinking "Do you have class tomorrow morning??" She asked him, still under the pretense that he was just a senior student.

Cat wasn't really paying attention to his response, literally at all. She heard him say something in confirmation and smiled to herself. Her eyes were fully closed by then, and Cat was meow concerned with going to sleep than with what was going on around her. She nodded just a little bit beside Mason "Yeah, I have class at 10. So I have to get back to the house sometime before then, but I'm not worried about that right now." She told Mason honestly. Her first class was advanced European history, it was usually only a class for upperclassmen, but she got in, because she had taken extra history credits in high school. She was excited for the class, and honestly hadn't even checked to see who her professor was yet, she didn't care. She was just excited to be in advanced classes. Between the warmth of the dog and Mason, Cat started to feel very sleepy, very fast. "I'm so gonna fall asleep on you." She muttered to the muscled man beside her, slowly falling asleep.

The sun crept in through the curtains, filtering over the quilt and Mason's face. Groaning he slung his arm over his face to try and block out the proof that morning had indeed come. He wasn't ready to be awake, he wanted to lay there, maybe get some more sleep, have morning snuggles with the girl beside him, and maybe share coffee and breakfast. It wasn't going to happen though, at least the snuggling part. Maybe the eating part would happen if he got himself out of bed. Mason uncovered his face and looked down at the sleeping girl in his arms. Damn if she wasn't the most gorgeous thing on earth. He brushed a light kiss over her temple just before slipping his arm out from under her, and out of the bed itself. He grabbed some clothes and went down to the bathroom, Mason didn't waste time in the shower, or on getting dressed. Within ten minutes he was finished up in the bathroom and walking out of it into the kitchen. He was wearing black jeans, a button down, cotton blue shirt, and of course his boots and belt with its belt buckle. He started a pot of coffee and got some pancake mix out to start making him and Cat some pancakes.
The first thing that Cat felt the next morning was a kiss. A big, sloppy, wet kiss that definitely didn't come from Mason. Her eyes popped open, and she let it a soft groan, moving away from the dogs muzzle some on the mattress. That's when Cat realized that Mason wasn't there, since she definitely didn't knock into him when she was getting away from the dog. But she didn't have much time to think, since Daisy was in her face again. Cat just decided to pet the dog this time. "Yeah, good morning to you too, love." She said softly, slowly starting to get out of the bed. She didn't know where Mason was but she figured she should get dressed first. She slipped out of between the sheets, letting her feet hit the cold hard wood. Cat wandered around for a moment, searching for her dress, and soon found it on the floor, right where she dropped it last night. She was thankful for the cotton fabric, since the thing wasn't even wrinkled. Cat just slipped it over her head and tried to play with her hair to make it look better as she padded down the stairs, Daisy following behind her "Mason?" She called, hoping to find him.

Cats hair was still a mess when Mason responded to her call. He was standing in the kitchen, flipping pancakes on a big skillet. A smile grew on Cat's face and she nodded to him, stepping lightly across the floor to the coffee pot. She picked up the mug that was beside it and filled it up with the dark liquid, taking a sip of it soon after. It was still burning hot, Cat's favorite temperature. "You make good coffee cowboy." She commented, strolling over to the other side of the island and taking a seat in one of the stools, so she was facing Mason. "Yeah that sounds good, I need to shower and things before my first class today." Her eyebrows quirked when he mentioned an office "Ooooo fancy, what do you have to go to the office for? Last time I went over there, the lady glared at me the whole time." She told him honestly, looking across the island at him, not suspecting a thing.

Cat had a bright look on her features as she gazed at the breakfast in front of her, the last time someone had cooked breakfast for her was when she'd slept over at a friends house. Cat took the whipped cream right off, and made a nice layer of it on top of the top pancake. "Yeah I think that was her name, she was such a grouch." Cat said, not even catching onto the whole "his class" hint. She just hadn't even considered the fact that Mason could be anything more than a student. Maybe, MAYBE he was a teaching assistant or an intern. But the thought of him being a professor had never even crossed her mind. Cat dug into the pancakes, the taste of the whipped cream was delicious on her tongue and she smiled at him across the table, patting the seat next to her in hopes of him sitting down. "Sorry you have to do paperwork, that sucks. It why Susan was glaring at me, I was texting when i should've been doing the paperwork." She said with a guilty smile.

Cat immediately nodded to his question, taking a big sip of her coffee before trying to answer. "So excited. I'm taking a bunch of advanced classes, things that should be for just juniors or something. But I took a lot of extra credits in high school when I was getting serious about gymnastics, I did this whole homeschooling thing for a semester and I just ended up being way more elevated than the rest of the kids. But I think Jo, my roommate, is in a class or two with me. I'm just excited to get started, I've been waiting for this to start for so long now." She told him honestly, taking a bite of pancakes. Ever since her gymnastics career fe through, she's been looking forward to just moving on in life and starting over, starting to make a new life for herself and learn something that will hopefully make her not so sad about her missed opportunity last year.

Cat noticed that he looked a little bit haunted for a second, but she decided to just brush it off, since he looked perfectly fine the rest of the time. And what would he have to be nervous about? She ate a little over half of her pancakes before getting full, and placed her fork down next to her plate, taking one more sip of coffee before turning to him. Cat placed two fingers on his chin, making sure he was looking her way, and looked right into his eyes. His green ones were way too pretty for some rough and tumble cowboy, it definitely wasn't fair "I promise to make time for a cowboy like you," she told him, leaning in and giving him a big kiss, close and passionate. She leaned back and smiled at him before getting up from her seat and walking away from the table and to the bathroom, maybe to tame her awfully messy hair.

Cat walked up to the mirror, looking herself over some to start off. Then she dove right in, wetting her face to get all of last nights makeup off. Her skin looked much better without the gunk on her face, it was shimmering and pale anyway. And the water took away her slight raccoon eyes from the mascara she had on last night. Cat scrubbed a hand towel against her face, then opened up her purse and took out the little makeup bag. She swiped some mascara over her eyelashes, just so there would something there, and added a little bit of lipgloss to her lips. She tied her hair up into a high ponytail, and teased the top of it a little bit so it would be all bouncy when she walked. Cat left the bathroom then, sliding on the flats she was wearing before, and looked around for Mason. She found him leaning by the door, watching Daisy outside. Cat smiled brightly, her bag slung across her chest. She walked over to him, her shoes tapping lightly against the hardwood, and hugged him from behind, watching Daisy over his shoulder "She's the cutest dog I've ever seen." She muttered softly, leaning her head against him.

Cat didn't know what it was, exactly, but she definitely felt close to Mason. It was the kind of thing where she felt like she's known him forever, they just clicked as soon as they met, and she thought that was something really special. He was a gentleman, he was sweet, and Cat started to think that she was very, very lucky to have run into him on the track that morning. She smiled softly when his hands moved over hers, it was such a comfortable setting there. She watched Daisy curiously, giggling some when the dog became scared or timid with the birds, she was the cutest thing she'd ever seen. Cat pouted some, but broke away from Mason when he called Daisy inside. the dog followed his instructions easily, and quickly trotted inside to them. Cat scratched behind Daisy's ears, smiling down at the puppy for a moment before looking up towards Mason "Ready?" She asked him curiously. The next time she would have to drive over here, so she could take her own car back to the sorority.

Cat followed him to the door and walked to his truck, prepared to open her own door. She was independent that way. But Mason showed up behind her and proved once again that he was ever the gentleman, opening her door got here, and even closing it behind her. Cat thanked him as she slid into the truck, settling int the seat and buckling her seatbelt for good measure, she knew they were close to her new home anyway. Cat nodded eagerly "Yes, we'll definitely be doing this again. Give me a call whenever." She told him, looking over at him with a big grin. She let out a sigh when they turned into the street, and when Mason opened her door for her once again she pouted as she slipped out of the car, landing on her own two feet in front of him. "I guess so. I want to hear from you soon." She told him, her eyes looking honest, even a little bit vulnerable. She leaned close to Mason and decided to kiss his socks off for a moment or two, her hands laid flat against his chest.

Cat was hoping that their kids would never end. It was harsh, fiery, and Mason was so close to her, she couldn't even get enough. She even felt those fairytale sparks that they always talked about in books and movies, she felt so so lucky to have found him. When he pulled away, Cat smiled wickedly up at him. It was obvious that he hadn't wanted to stop the kiss, either. He promised to call her later that night, and even told her to send any bullies to him. Cat giggled and grinned when he pecked her cheek softly, it was so sweet that she wanted to latch onto him and not let go. But she stepped away from the truck some and walked up to the house as he backed out of the driveway, bursting through the front door of the sorority and heading straight for the stairs. she just had to find Jo, to tell her all about the date she'd just had. Cat bumped into a good number of sleepy girls on the way, but she didn't care. She opened up the door to her and Jos room "Jo? You here?" She asked loudly, hoping to find her friend.
