Stuck in a rut.

Hey you creeps! I’m stuck in a book rut lately, finding it difficult to find a good horror read.

I enjoy different horror sub-genres...NOS4A2, Tales from a gas station, Gils all fright diner, Town on the edge of darkness.

Any recommendations of books that sucked you in would be very welcomed!

Any horror novels that take place in the desert is a PLUS!

I loved this book. The story pulls you right in and you try to think what would you do if put in the same situation as the characters.

NECROSCOPE by Brian Lumley *****

The first Dark Tower book by Stephen King, The Gunslinger, takes place in the desert. And is a very fun read.

Sunblind by Michael McBride is a good one set in the desert.

Gils All Fright Diner...wow, don't see that book mentioned very often, I loved it!

Maybe 'In The Valley of the Sun', though it has a much darker voice. Just read it in a group read with varying opinions about it...
