the story is about a boy who only has 8-12 months to live and is offered a spot in a special group that trains teens to go on dangerous missions. he is sent somewhere in south america (i think). his teammates are given a drug that increases there strength, speed and reaction time called t9(shortened version cant remeber full name). he finds out that him and all his teammates aren't actually sick and whats killing them is the drug they were given.
