"Ok... what scares you?" Clara asks, "I could throw you up in the air with the abilities my mother gave me..."
"THAT WON'T BE NECESSARY!!!" He responded quickly."J-just.. I don't know, have your dog jump on me or surprise me while I'm walking. I'm scared of almost anything."
Clara laughs quietly. "Ok, but I'm warning you, she's almost 85 pounds of Bernese Mountain dog," she says.
"I thought so. Look, I promise I won't let you get hurt if I throw you up. I could even just slowly raise you up into the air," she says, "Even if you do get hurt, we have healers here. They've saved us all more than once." She sits down and gets Sadie to lay down, stroking her coat.
"But- high up-...." He looked up at the clear sky and gulped."Yeah... ok. I guess it's better then a 85-pound dog jumping on me..." He sighed, feeling as if he might regret this.
"I'm never ready." He muttered despairingly.Jonas stood up and leaned his guitar against the tree, then stepped out into the open.
He seemed to calm down after the warmth of the sunlight spread across his body, but that mostly disappeared after what happened next.
"AGH!!!"
He screamed as he was launched into the air.At that moment bright yellow spheres showed up and started spinning rapidly around his head.
"YOU CAN STOP, YOU CAN STOP!!!" He curled up in a ball to try and protect himself from nothing.
Clara slowly puts him down, gawking at the spheres of light. "You're ok," she says to Jonas. She was grinning.
"I'm never ok..." He muttered quietly to himself."Did it work?!" He opened one of his eyes to stare at Clara.
The spheres had slowed down, but hadn't disappeared.
She nodded. "And now I have an idea about who your godly parent is. But one question, who did you know? Your mom or your dad?"
"My mom... kind of. She's either always gone or yelling at me. The only thing I know about my Dad was that he left when I was a baby, my Mom hates him for it, and that he left me that guitar." Jonas turned to stare at the honey colored guitar.
"Apollo?" He asked, then paused to try and remember who the heck Apollo was."The god of the Sun and poetry!" He gasped. "That definitely makes a lot more sense....." He stared up at the sky.
"You're sure?" He looked back at her.
"As close to sure as we can get, until he claims you of course," Clara says, "I know a bunch of children of Apollo and well, Josh's hair glows sometimes. And other weird light things happen to them all the time. Not to mention you're a really good singer, and an outstanding guitar player."
"T-thanks... I guess...." He blushed slightly at the compliment."How long do you think it'll be until I'm claimed?!"
"Makes sense. If you want I could introduce you to my little sister Amber and my boyfriend Alex. If I can find him, that is," Clara says.
"No, the first person I met barely told me anything, after that I mainly just asked where to go, I eventually just wandered back here and sat under this tree."
"Sounds better then wandering around aimlessly." He got off the ground and picked up his guitar. He slung the strap over his shoulder and looked at Clara.
“Sure, that actually sound great!” Jonas responded with a more hyper feeling about him. He was excited to lounge on the warm sand and listen to the ocean waves.

((In the CHB rp i've made up this thing where kids in the Apollo cabin create small light spheres and have them float around the cabin at night, thats just for me though, and thats why I gave him the quirk))
