Sword Practice

I block her attack and jump backwards and inevitably trip over.

"Do you want me to go on defense now? Practice your attacks some more?" I ask, offering her a hand up.
"Yeah sure." I say getting up.((Right I have to go to sleep now,it's like 2am))
"Ok, you attack," I say, ignoring the throbbing coming from my arm.
"Okay" I say, I make a jab towards her leg.
I dodge, but my movements are slower than usual. I try not to be concerned. Must be the blood loss I think.
I frown she was slower, but that could mean shes tired.I take a step back "You okay?"
"Yep, don't worry about me," I say nodding.
"Okay then"I say warily.I take a step back "Your turn"
"Ok," I lunge at her, hitting her in the side with the flat of my blade.
I get cut but I stop the blade before the its gets serious.
I cringe at the sight of blood. "You ok?" I ask, "and it's your turn."
"Yeah i'll be fine its just a little blood" I say smiling. I then proceed to swipe towards her feet.
I don't move fast enough and her sword makes a pretty deep cut. I gasp and catch myself with water so I don't fall over.
"Ah Damn"I say "Im so sorry ,are you okay?"
"I think so," I say, not looking at it.
"I mean, you're the daughter of Apollo," I say, my stomach flipping with nervousness.
"I mean maybe"I say "But still- you're a daughter of Poseidon right? at least put water on the wound or something?"
"I don't think water will help this," I say. "or at least, the water I produce/control can't help."
"Please don't hurt me," I whisper, easing myself to the ground.
"I won't, trust me"I say grabbing the supplies i'll need from my bag.
"Do you always carry that around?" I ask, trying to stall.
"Mostly, me being a complete klutz has something to do with it."I answer.I grab the final things i need.
I laugh weakly, "What exactly are you going to do?" I ask eyeing the stuff she pulled out uneasily.
"In simple terms, clean it , add ointment and wrap it up"I say
"Yup oh and and some advice maybe no more fighting"I say."Okay im gonna do it now, you ready?"
"N-no, not really," I say floating a few feet above the ground, just out of her reach.
I roll my eyes."Fine then get infected and die"I say laughing.
My eyes widen. "WHAT?!" I say, truly starting to panic.
"Joking!" I say seeing her start to worry."Your not going to die"
I try to slow down my breathing, wringing my hands.
"Calm down, its all going to be okay"I say in a comforting voice.
I shake my head but slowly begin to lower to the ground anyways.
As she lowers to the ground i gesture for her to sit down.
I slowly sit down, all my muscles tense.
I start to clean the wound,trying to make it as painless as possible.
I wince, and subconsciously accidentally reopen the wound in my arm by fiddling with it.
"Sorry," I mutter, watching blood soak through the bandages.
"It's fine" I say as I start to continue the process.
