Godly Heritage: Bia; goddess of power, force and strength. However, her dad is a son of Ares.
Looks: Mena has rich, dark-red auburn hair, long and falling to just past her waist. She has golden skin, flecked with scars across the arms. Her eyes are dark, intense brown, and a little bit slanted. They’re mysterious, impossible to read and impossible to look away from.
Mena is tall - not super tall, but taller than average. She’s also unnervingly strong, despite her graceful frame, and has amazing reflexes. Her agility, flexibility and strength make her an incredible gymnast, as at ease in the air as she is in the fighting ring.
Dress Style: Mena is usually wearing black leggings with something else. She never wears anything loose or fancy because it gets in the way. She’ll wear a jacket or something, as long as she can move in it. She needs to have room to flip, kick, jab, or slash.
She’s almost always wearing her rubber-soled platform combat boots. They’re basically the only shoes she wears. Mena doesn’t really care about makeup, but she likes eyeliner - it’s like her war paint. She doesn’t wear jewelry unless it helps her fight; chain necklaces and claw rings, mainly.

Personality: Mena has a temper. She gets angry easily. Not a surprise, since her dad is an Ares demigod and her mother is the personification of force and strength. But she tries to think and strategize before she does anything rash - to her, brainpower is another strength to be harnessed.
That doesn’t mean she always succeeds...she’s still kind of working on it.
Mena’s very fierce and independent, incredibly sassy, and one of the most stubborn people on the face of the Earth. She never lets anything drop - not for half a second. And if you piss her off...brace yourself. Either her retorts or her halberd will be coming after you. As you can probably guess, she’s incredible at coming up with things on the spot. She can act incredibly fast.
She’s surprisingly good at strategy if she actually stops to think first, and is actually very smart. It’s just that she doesn’t have the patience to sit around studying. She’s placed her priorities and she doesn’t actually care about the other stuff.
She’s not very outgoing, but she’s definitely not an introvert. Mena is just socially oblivious sometimes. She can hold a conversation just fine and can always pick up on offensive warning signs, but she doesn’t know how to act when she cares about someone or they care about her.
Therefore, Mena has a very hidden overprotective side that she doesn’t show to anyone except the people she has secretly adopted.
Likes: Bubble tea, torches, her halberd, big weapons, her abilities, weights and sparring training, hand-to-hand combat, cupcakes, coffee (specifically espresso)
Dislikes: Long-range weapons, running for a long time, small weapons, feeling helpless or lost, tomatoes, tea, losing, not being able to do something properly

History: Mena’s dad was a military sharpshooter who tried his best to care for her. He was around for most of the time when she was little, but slowly just started leaving for longer and longer periods of time. She got used to it after a while, and at age five was not very surprised when she’d been home with only a family friend (a minor demigod, not that she knew) to keep watch on her.
But having two demigods, sometimes three, under the same roof, was conspicuous. Even if they were minor. When Mena was seven, her townhouse was attacked by a manticore and two harpies. Her dad’s friend/her caretaker told her to run. He would hold them off.
So she did, not understanding. She only understood that those creatures were real, and she’d been in danger.
She never found out if her caretaker survived, but she assumes he did.
The seven-year-old was found quickly by a satyr. After that night, she had the scars across her arms from harpy claws and a manticore spike along her shoulder. She got to camp after a few more monster encounters, during which she discovered her abilities.
However, she wasn’t claimed until her eighth birthday. After living in the Hermes cabin for almost a year trying to understand her powers and learning how to fight, a flaming torch appeared over her head. When it disappeared, she had the bronze ring for pyrsós on her finger.
She’s spent the rest of her time training and fighting to prove herself. To show everyone that even though she’s a minor demigod, she’s still just as strong and powerful as everyone else. Her mom is literally the goddess of power anyway.

Abilities: energy force; Mena can generate and direct pure power. It can also form a shield, and basically is just like a forceful blast.
She can also channel her anger into a burst of physical strength. So in a fight or stressful situation, she can make herself much stronger and hit a lot harder.
