woohoo!!! I am using this book for another challenge, so as soon as she gives me the green light to move on, I'll start!

I'm really excited for this one! I hope this is the ending we were hoping for :)

Which challenge?

Finished Carry The Earth. While it was pleasant enough to read I don't feel (view spoiler)[it added any information we did not already have. Basically, we found out that Meredith returned to the island with Leo and Kaelyn (which is quickly hinted at the end of book three), and we found out that Tessa made a place for herself in the artist community where her opinion was respected and valued. This is something that was also kind of a given.
We were teased with the idea of the artisan community relocating but didn't even get an answer to that. :( (hide spoiler)]

So far, I am disappointed.

Finished Trial by Fire. I liked this (view spoiler)[ more than Carry the Earth. I feel we found out things we didn't know, and the story had a full arc. (hide spoiler)]

yeah...it didn't really give us much, did it

I also liked that Leo got to kind of let her know that he and kaelyn were back together (hide spoiler)]

I was also glad, at the end, she finally let that wall down

but....i want to know how the colony ended. did they divide up? did they all stay? (hide spoiler)]

Finished watersong.

Well...it was something.

It just wasn't (view spoiler)[ enough. Or maybe it was too much of things I wasn't particularly concerned about. The only story that felt like it actually resolved something I felt was unresolved at the end of book three was the second one. (hide spoiler)]

man, I could NOT believe he wasn't killed in the first place
I'm so glad he's gone - and by his own choice. I'm glad Drew didn't end up having to shoot him

I agree!! that third story (view spoiler)[ was just odd
playing games, dancing for therapy....one kid exposing others...okay...

well...at least we can say we completed the series :D
