NEW Challenge for 2015: Hero Showdown: Blue Collar Heroes or White Collar Heroes?

I think people are just being cautious."
I was presuming I could up it once I have reached my intial goal - just as I do with my goodreads goal - sort of movable goal posts

That's what I always do too, but this is like everyone has low goal. :)
I understood it last year since we were doing each place only once, so I thought this is the same.

I've set myself with 75 Blue Collars & 50 white collars, and my shelves are:

No, it doesn't have to be romance ☺

Welcome, Kendra. I added you, but I won't be able to "refresh" your challenge, which will include your total in our totals, unless you accept my friend-invite. No hard feelings, if you don't. However, you'll have to click on your percent to do your own "refreshing."

Sunday Group Update!
Blue Collar: 126
White Collar: 116"
I'm really shocked by this. I could've sworn white collar would seriously surpass blue.

I would have thought so, too. For myself, I read 50/50 (I think!), but I was thinking the group would be more "white" collar.

I have met my blue collar goal, haha. I think when I signed up I was only considering romance novel heroes, but now I realize I read a lot of non-romance books where a person's job plays an important part of the story.

Oh, that's a tough call. He probably has a degree, but is out in the field, right?

I have to remember to mark my In Death books with both blue and white collar. Blue for Eve, white for Roarke.

My stats:
Blue: 9
White: 17
A lot of my upcoming reads are blue so that number will get even higher. I agree with Lisa this was a very good idea:)
